GenerateHope is a San Diego non-profit organization that provides safe housing, trauma recovery, education, and life skills coaching to women who have been victims of sex trafficking. Their goal is to protect, heal and empower these women so they can transition confidently into a purposeful and fulfilled life.
It is the first long-term integrated recovery home program specifically for sex trafficking survivors in San Diego County.
YOUME Clothing is a San Diego based nonprofit that exists to renew and empower communities through collaborative repurposing partnerships. They provide school uniforms and new clothes to kids in developing countries in exchange for their oldest, most tattered garment – which is repurposed into YOUME products and sold. Proceeds fund further clothing exchanges and development projects.
Out of the Boat Swim is a water safety program that envisions a world where no child will drown while enjoying the water. But it is so much more than that. Their mission is to enable underprivileged children in coastal communities to build confidence in life by building confidence in the water through water safety programs.
Ride4Water is using their culture and influence to develop and build renewable ocean based clean water solutions. They have been doing clean water work for several years and in 2018 will install their first solar powered Desalination Project that will use solar energy to produce 10,000 gallons a day of clean drinking water out of the ocean using solar energy for the entire community of Palmercito, El Salvador.
